Tasks will include but not limited to preparation of traffic impact studies, feasibility assessments, corridor studies, intersection analyses, access and circulation studies, design and preparation of HOP permit plans, traffic signal design, maintenance of traffic plans preparation and preparation of pavement and signing plans. Proficiency of MS Office, AutoCAD or Microstation required. Working knowledge of HCS, SYNCHRO, Simtraffic, Autoturn, Guidsign and Asidra is preferred but not required. Familiarity with PennDOT/Federal standards and procedures. Strong verbal and written communication skills.

    Traffic Technician (ENOLA, PA)
    Assisting the traffic engineering staff, traffic engineering techs perform such activities as traffic data collections, sight distance evaluation, intersection geometry inventory, speed studies, data reduction and research and report preparation. The ideal candidate must have a two year technical school degree or certificate, working knowledge of MS Office Microsoft, AutoCAD or Microstation proficiency. IMSA certifications a plus.
